Why it Pays to Pause
Many of us start our own businesses only to realize we are working for a task-master: ourselves! The funny thing is, it’s not a demanding corporate supervisor who is making us work these long hours. It’s the lure of our own business! We love what we do so much, it often doesn’t feel like work when we are doing it! If we are not actually billing time, we are creating opportunities, honing systems, catching up on accounting, networking or learning new software.
If we aren’t careful, we will find we are working for a crazy person – someone who doesn’t EVER hit the pause button and is always driving us to do more, more, more. This month we focus on tips and tricks to give yourself permission to pause.
